Florida Distillers is the first registered distillery in Florida. First
established in 1943 in Lake Alfred, FL as FL Fruit Distillers Inc, we are in our
65th year of existence. During World War II grain alcohol was being diverted for
the war effort. However, the production of alcohol from fruit sources was still
allowed, which allowed us to get into the alcohol business. We are located in
the heart of the citrus industry and the sugar cane industry, and we use the
citrus and cane to produce alcohol.
We have distilleries located in Lake Alfred, FL and Auburndale, FL and have a
total production capacity of 10 million proof gallons per year. We also have a
winery and a bottling facility located at our Auburndale facility. Storage and
Rum Aging facilities are located at our Winter Haven, FL location. With our 65
years of experience in the alcohol industry we are the premier distiller of
alcohol in the region.
